VA has a tax rates by city/county publication every year from 1999-2022. This publication goes over the cities/counties in alphabetical order regarding key metrics of real estate tax rates, tangible personal property tax rates, machinery & tools, and merchants' capital.

For a more in depth/updated analysis of things in SE VA, see the "RE Taxes & Personal Property Taxes" tabs on my SE VA City/County Information spreadsheet.
