Motivation & Timing Framework for Getting Your House Ready to Sell or Rent

In the past, I've tackled time management, exterior house preparations, interior house preparations, when to sell, & finances for repairs. My seller guide covers a much broader range of topics. In this article, I'll focus on methods for boosting your ability to plan, acquire the motivation to do what you want to do, and holistic well-being for those who want to get their house ready for sale but who are struggling to get it done.

Establish or maintain a high sense of mental and emotional equilibrium

Establishing & maintaining a high sense of mental and emotional equilibrium is one of the top means of accomplishing whatever goals you have in life. In my article titled "Finding Peace Biblically & Holistically", I go over a holistic & biblical approach to tackling sources of peace disruptors. The holistic elements I go over in more detail in the article include:

  • Eat/Drink Healthy

  • Develop Great Sleep Patterns

  • Exercise Regularly (Including But Not Limited to Physical Therapy, if Applicable)

  • Tackle Underlying Problems

  • Seek Help from Trusted Sources & Avoid Suicide

Establish written goals

Using a calendar daily, even on days when you don't work, is highly beneficial to a good life and to reduced anxiety. Per "7 ‘rich habits’ of highly successful people, from a man who studied them for 25 years" as published by CNBC, “Those who maintain both a calendar and to-do list are 289 percent more likely to be millionaires, as compared with those who have no real set schedule".
