In this article, I'll be sharing some common home inspection addendums in SE VA. Most images are courtesy the Real Estate Information Network.
REIN Property Inspection Contingency Addendum (used most often in Hampton Roads at time of offer submission if including inspections):
REIN Property Inspection Contingency Addendum (pg 1)
The additional inspections section can change based on the buyer's preferences. Often there aren't any additional inspections. Unlike the VAR similar form, all inspections desired at time of offer should be specified from the beginning.

The number of days below can change. I typically do 5-7 days if representing a buyer as long as not in too rural of an area and as long as there aren't some additional inspections scheduled or additional inspections suspected of being needed that the home inspector might point out.

REIN Property Inspection Contingency Removal Addendum (used most often in Hampton Roads at time of inspection-related requests or removing the contingency without requests):

Often no other inspections (see other) are included in the addendum.

Remaining items that don't fit on page 1 can go on page 2.

Outside of Hampton Roads, elsewhere in SE VA, and in a number of other parts of VA, VR forms are used instead, but they are pretty strict on copyright, so I won't be posting that information here, even though this is not the current form, i.e. VR Home Inspection Contingency Addendum
